In 2007 I was commissioned by NOAA to design a mural for their Pacific Grove, California lab.
Sarah Mesnick and Frank Schwing headed up the team that gave me input and guidance on what they wanted depicted.
Together we came up with the idea of Green Sea/Blue Seas, reflecting the ever changing regimes and creatures of the California current.
Roberto Salas and Memo Jauregui painted with acrylics on ‘non woven’ material that was then later adhered to the building.
So on this one I designed ‘em and Memo and Roberto painted them.
