Sometimes the most obvious puns can be the best ones, or the worst ones depending on how you look at it. I much prefer calling the double groaner pun “word play”. The visual image is what completes the idea for me. After completing the pen and ink original I handed it off to my pal Memo Jauregui to do the semi psychedelic digital coloring.

I’ve kicked around adding some sort of tag line on this one but nothing has quite stuck yet. Perhaps Dungies and Doobies? Or how about Kosmic Kushtacean Strain? I’m open to ideas!
