DANCING TO THE FOSSIL RECORD
Dancing to the Fossil Record is a linoleum block print I carved and printed from back in the 90’s as part of a traveling museum exhibit and book of the same name. It depicts a modish hippy couple dancing and grooving to old vinyl albums, AKA records, surrounded by prehistoric beasties. In geologic terms the fossil record refers to the collection of all discovered fossils, arranged in chronological order, that document the history of life on Earth. The record is very old and has some huge skips in it that have eroded away over the eons, but fear not, the pulsing flow and rhythm of life is oh so easy to dance to.
Actual measurements may vary +/- .75 inches
