“Sometime Late at Night” was created way back in 1988 not long after Ray began catching, cooking and eating lots of Alaskan fish. Being a sensitive kind of guy he often felt pangs of remorse mixed with his feelings of pride. That sort of inner conflict led to this piece depicting a late night piscine visitation. It’s a feeling many a fisherman have shared at one time or another.
