You’ll spend many happy hours perusing this insanely detailed fossil map of Alaska and the Yukon.

Ray created the map for the Cruisin’ the Fossil Coastline book and exhibit in cooperation with his paleobotanist pal Dr. Kirk Johnson. Each image on the map represents the location of a fabulous fossil find from wild and wooly mammoths, giant fish lizards, short faced bears to polar dinosaurs and more. Ray drew the original in pen and ink and Grace Freeman did the beautiful digital coloring.
