LIVE TO FISH

This design was originally created for the American Fisheries Society’s annual meeting that was held in Anchorage, Alaska in 2005. I called it the “Woodstock of Fisheries Management” since there were 4,000 some members in attendance. All of the fish depicted in the design are found in Alaska with many ranging all the way down to California. I tried to depict the various way that fish “feed” us in the outer circle: inspirationally, scientifically, culturally, via sport and via commerce.
