Dogfish is a name for an entire family of sharks over seventy species strong. I’ve drawn two types of dogfish in this image: the world’s most common shark, the spiny dogfish; and, lurking in the background, the enormous Pacific sleeper shark. Dogfish earned their name because they travel in packs like dogs.This drawing is featured in my kid’s book “Sharkabet”.
