The ‘Encante’ is the enchanted, mythological golden city below the surface of the Amazon River where people dressed in white outfits dance all night with magical animals and all one’s every need is taken care of. This drawing was produced for the Miami Museum of Science’s traveling exhibit ‘Amazon Voyage: Vicious Fishes and Other Riches’ and a gigantic reproduction of it surrounds a dance floor where visitors can don costumes and frolic about.
