A view below the ocean in the waters near Kodiak, Alaska, depicting sea creatures of myriad aspects and types. I photographed fishing vessels on the grid north of town for this piece and gave the boats names that are significant to me: the Michelle K (my wife), the True Blue (my dream boat: a double-ended wooden troller), and the Mary Lou (one of the songs my art band Zuzu and the Robot Slave Boys played during my graduate school days).
