ONE FOR THE BIRDS ART POSTER

After a long period of drawing fish, I took a break from depicting the scaly creatures of the deep and turned to our feathered friends for inspiration. The result was this bird filled colored pencil drawing that includes many of my favorites: bald eagles, kingfishers, ravens, flickers, cedar waxwings, oyster catchers, jays, tufted puffins, great blue herons, goshawks, cardinals, whiskered auklets, northern pygmy owls, mergansers, curlews, loons and the almost certainly extinct ivory billed woodpecker.
