DEEP TIME DIVER
What if one could don a deep-sea diving suit and go ‘deep time’ diving? You’d find yourself in a truly different world full of bizarre ancient echinoderms and arthropods like Ainiktozoon on the far left. It’s a weird critter from the Silurian of Scotland with one big bulbous Cyclops-like eyeball. Once upon a time someone theorized animals like this gave rise to the vertebrates.. but I digress! Check out Anomalocaris the terror of the trilobites crusing just to the right of Ainiktozoon. Some heteromorphy ammonites float through on the right along with a school of Thelodont fish, among them my favorites a nice arrow shaped fish called Furcacauda found in Northern Canada. Ah yes I’m letting my paleo nerd freak flag fly high!
